Vocal Point-Dr. Richard Weikart

On October 31st, 1517, a young monk named Martin Luther nailed a list of disagreements with the Church to the cathedral door in Wittenberg, Germany. In doing so, he touched off a Reformation that would turn the world upside down. History professor and author, Dr. Richard Weikart, who teaches at California State University, Stanislaus, retraced the steps of Martin Luther in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. He has produced a 26-minute film on the Reformation and on some important revivals that followed in its wake. Dr. Richard Weikart joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss Luther, including the charge of anti-Semitism later in the Reformer’s life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLGtYpuM_ls
