A Whopper Meal at Burger King would increase from $6.49 to $8.96. 10-piece Chicken McNuggets at McDonald’s would go from $4.49 to 6.20. And a Starbucks’ Grande Mocha Frappuccino would no longer be $4.56, but rather 6.29. Furthermore, she cites research that more than a third of people in businesses forced to have such a hike would end up losing their job.
