Vocal Point-Tim Wildmon

About 40 years ago, a Methodist minister sat down to what he was hoping to be a relaxing night of watching TV with his family—only to find his faith assaulted on virtually every channel. He even saw a scene from a program so violent that a man was hitting another man over the head with a hammer! That Methodist minister was Don Wildmon, and he decided right then and there to do something about the anti-Christian bias he was finding in our culture at large, much less on TV. He founded the National Federation of Decency, later changing the name to the American Family Association. Today, Tim Wildmon, Don’s son, runs this great organization which is dedicated to restoring Christian values in our culture.
