Reformation at 500

In this particular image, he is standing in front of the castle where Martin Luther translated the Bible into German.] October 31, 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of when Martin Luther nailed 95 theses on the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral, sparking the Reformation. Here’s a program dealing with that. In particular, about 15 minutes in, look for a segment produced by Dr. Jerry Newcombe which explains the story—and draws from a great video by history professor Dr. Richard Weikart. He teaches history at the California State University, Stanislaus. The video by Dr. Weikart is called “Exploring the Reformation  Revivals.”
