Scientists have now cloned two monkeys. This should be a bigger headline than it appeared to be. China announced this to the world in January. This is the first known time that a primate has been cloned. (Dolly the Sheep was the first mammal cloned.) Cloning as seen in science fiction movies appears to be getting closer to reality. What are the Judeo-Christian ethical considerations regarding cloning? What is the price paid in terms of the value of life in the process of cloning?
