Vocal Point-Bob Norton

Robert Norton is vice president and general counsel of Hillsdale College. He wrote a piece recently in the Hill on the subject of President Trump and religious freedom. His headline reads: “With religious liberty memo, Trump made America free to be faithful again”  Norton discusses threats to religious freedom in our time, including what happened to cake bakers Melissa and Aaron Klein in Oregon, who in good conscience cannot bake a cake to celebrate a same-sex wedding. (Nor should a black printer be forced, against conscience, to print a KKK flier—or a Muslim butcher be forced, against conscience, to handle pork.) The Trump administration wrote a memo on behalf of religious freedom. Bob Norton joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss religious freedom in our time. www.hillsdale.edu
