In the history of the church, perhaps no movement (outside of Islam) has proved to be a greater foe to the Christian Church than Communism. Dr. Paul Kengor is a professor of history and political science at Grove City College. He is the author of a series of bestselling nonfiction works of history, many of which center around Communism and also Ronald Reagan. Dr. Kengor’s latest book is called “A Pope and a President,” on how the unusual alliance between Pope John Paul II and Ronald Reagan helped speed up the end of the cold war and ultimately, the collapse of the Soviet Union. Dr. Paul Kengor joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss how the Communists declared war against God for some 70 years or so.

Clare Miezio of Eagle Forum in the Chicago suburbs: “May I say, I have worked with other media people and Mr. Newcombe is one of the most conscientious and accurate talk show hosts I have met. It certainly was a pleasure working with [him].”
