There are about a dozen Christian mission groups that are working together  for the third annual International Day for the Unreached on Pentecost Sunday, May 20, 2018. They note that about:

  • 2.5 billion people have never even had the chance to hear about Jesus.
  • 70,000 people die each day without the Gospel.
  • And, less than 1% of church budgets go toward reaching the unreached with the Gospel.

Greg Kelly is the CEO of one of these groups, World Mission. It is described this way: “A Grand Rapids, Mich.-based nonprofit focused upon providing hope to those living in the most unreached and persecuted nations in the world, World Mission has 75 employees and over 200 volunteers in the U.S. serving the international ministry and running its seven thrift stores.” Greg Kelley joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point on reaching the unreached in our world.

    D. James Kennedy (1930-2007): “I have been very impressed with your work, especially the specials whose production you have headed up. I believe you have made a significant contribution to the work of Coral Ridge Ministries, for which I am very grateful. I believe that your contribution to the kingdom of God will be even far greater in the years to come. It has always been a pleasure working with you as well.”
