Vocal Point-Jenny Yang

Are persecuted Christians from some of the troubled nations being accepted and resettled into America at a lower rate presently? Apparently so. Jenny Yang, the vice president of Advocacy and Policy at World Relief (in Maryland), gave a presentation to the International Religious Freedom Caucus recently, outlining this development. She said there has been an 80% drop in Christian refugees being resettled in America, compared to even two years ago. Yang states, “[There’s a] fundamental principle of promoting religious freedom and democracy in our acceptance of refugees. In fact, they’re fundamentally tied together.” Jenny Yang joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss this disturbing trend. www.worldrelief.org
