John Heubusch is the executive director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. He is also the author of a religious thriller on its way to bestselling status. It is a novel called “The Shroud Conspiracy.” The Today Show called it one of their top 12 “must reads.” Recently. John Heubusch joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss and contrast Reagan’s approach with an overweening environmental accord with that of Trump’s discontinuing the Paris Accord. In a piece for the Dailey Caller, Heubusch argues: “To be like Reagan, Trump should be unwavering in his promotion of American principles…Reagan consistently demonstrated strength, but wrapped it in optimism, humility and humor. He knew the American people would respond when he reminded them of this country’s great past, and its promising future.”
