“Jesus in the Courtroom” is a new book by Chicago-based attorney John Mauck. He serves as a religious liberty lawyer, helping with the Alliance Defending Freedom and the Christian Legal Society. He notes that when the Bible describes Jesus in Isaiah 9:6 (written 750 BC) as a “wonderful counselor,” that essentially means that our Lord is a great lawyer. But didn’t Jesus say, “Woe to the lawyers”? John Mauck joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss Jesus and the law. www.jesusinthecourtroom.com

Al Conklin / Meteorologist: Dear Dr. Newcombe, I just wanted to pass along a note of thanks for your excellent commentaries, as passed along in The Bell Ringer. They are thought provoking and I’ve shared them with many friends and family members over the years. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
