Many American families have embraced homeschooling in the last few decades. There are approximately 2.8 million families involved in homeschooling. In 2000, Eric and Joyce Burges from the Baton Rouge area founded an organization to help more African-Americans get involved in home schooling. This resource network is called the National Black Home Educators. Joyce Burges joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss homeschooling and what it can offer to all Americans. www.nbhe.net
