Vocal Point-Julio Gonzalez

Topic: Cuba

Cuba has seen recently an unprecedented number of protests. The protesters who go out in the streets are risking death or imprisonment for daring to speak out. Food and water and basic needs are in short supply for those on the island state—while the Castro family lives high off the hog.

Julio P. Gonzalez founded the Gonzalez Family Office and is the CEO and Founder of Engineered Tax Services, Inc. (ETS). ETS is the country’s largest specialty tax engineering firm which specializes in the preservation of wealth. Julio’s family is from Cuba, and he is quite concerned about the Cuban people, including wider family members still suffering under Communism there. He notes:

*The Cuban government does not have the medical nor financial systems in place to effectively help their citizens.

*Ultimate change is needed now more than ever and citizen pressure is the escalator to create this change.
