Topic: Putin and Russia

Recently, the #1 book in America was Red War. The author is Kyle Mills, and it is in the tradition of the late Vince Flynn, featuring a Flynn-created character, CIA-operative Mitch Rapp. The whole series are New York Times bestsellers. The new book deals with a Putin-like character who is more concerned with his own power, even in the face of a life-threatening illness, than he is his own people or the rest of the world. The premise of Red War is described this way: “How does the Russian president try to cling to power after learning he has an inoperable brain tumor? Could this result in World War III? The fate of the world rests on counterterrorism operative, Mitch Rapp, in this political thriller.” Caution: If books were to be rated, this would be rated R for language and violence. Kyle Mills joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss Red War and Putin’s Russia. www.kylemills.com
