New England preacher Phillips Brooks, who lived about a hundred years ago, was usually a very calm man. But one day he was very frustrated—a friend saw him pacing the floor like a caged lion. “What is the trouble, Dr. Brooks?” asked the friend. “The trouble is that I’m in a hurry, but God isn’t!” A contemporary Christian leader Marcus Gill just wrote a book on Christian patience called Everybody Wants to Win, But Nobody Wants to Wait. Marcus Gill joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the importance of patience to the Christian.
