Without violating border security, what can the church and individual Christians do to help refugees seeking a new life in America? World Relief works with churches, including evangelical ones, to help meet a variety of humanitarian needs in the Name of Christ. Over the last three years, they have worked together with more than 1800 congregations to help resettle new refugees. They are helping to provide the refugees to set up home here, to learn English as a second language, to receive job training and counseling. Matthew Soerens, the US Director of Church Mobilization for World Relief, joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss this humanitarian outreach. www.worldrelief.org

Dr. Bob Barnes: “Dear Jerry: I was driving home and listening to your broadcast on Monday night, January 10, with the law professor from Notre Dame. In my opinion, that was your very best interview. I ended up listening to it all the way to the end.”
