Too many of our schools have become God-free zones. The founders never intended that (to wit, Article III of the Northwest Ordinance, 1789). A popular football coach, Joe Kennedy, was fired from his job in a Washington state high school because of saying a silent prayer at a game. The coach says, “When the school district fired me, I was devastated. I really hope that the school district will give me my job back so I can get back to doing what I love most: coaching my players.” First Liberty Institute has taken up his case. Constitutional attorney Mike Berry of First Liberty joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to talk about this on-going case and why it matters.

Clare Miezio of Eagle Forum in the Chicago suburbs: “May I say, I have worked with other media people and Mr. Newcombe is one of the most conscientious and accurate talk show hosts I have met. It certainly was a pleasure working with [him].”
