Should taxpayers be forced to pay for abortions, even if they don’t agree with abortion? Well, the Illinois governor and legislature think the answer should be “Yes.” Recently writer Tom Ciesielka penned, “Today, the Thomas More Society filed a taxpayer lawsuit against State of Illinois officials in a counterattack against House Bill 40, which requires public funding of tens of thousands of elective abortions.” Special counsel for the Thomas More Society is Peter Breen, who wrote the lawsuit.
