Sam ParsonsJesus Christ can change lives. The Gospel of Christ still changes people. As Paul the Apostle said, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things are made new.” Sam Parsons, the son of gospel singer Squire (“Sweet Beulah Land”) Parsons, fell away from his Christian upbringing. Drugs got the better of him, and he even ended up in prison. Sam joins Jerry Newcombe to tell how Christ changed him from the inside out. Today, he’s singing for the Lord.

  1. Brenda says:

Enjoyed the testimony, but with all honesty I had no idea who Squire Parson was and I searched for the song, “Sweet Beulah Land”. Then I wanted to know what was Beulah and was so, so, so delighted to learn it is a reference in Isaiah 62:4. I played a video of the the song again, but this time with lyrics and sang along, with understanding and longing for Beulah land!
