Vocal Point-Sarah Anderson

Recently, vox.com wrote, “On March 1, the federal govt is scheduled to hit the debt ceiling, running out of legal authority to borrow money — a potentially crippling problem because trillion-dollar deficits require regular bond sales to keep money flowing.” By the time this airs March 1, in the year of our Lord 2019 will have come and gone, but the issues still remain.

Recently, Sarah Anderson of FreedomWorks wrote: “Debatably the most important power delegated to Congress is its power of the purse. However, it never uses this power correctly. This week, the United States’ national debt surpassed the $22 trillion mark.” Sarah Anderson, Federal Affairs manager for FreedomWorks, joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss the budget and debt ceiling issue. www.Freedomworks.org
