Dr. Ted Baehr is the go-to guy when it comes to Hollywood and Christians. He is the longtime publisher of Movieguide.org, which provides a biblical perspective on the movies. Recently, Sony discussed the possibility of providing airline-type versions of some of their movies—with the language cleaned up or gratuitous sex scenes removed. But some of the directors, writers, producers, and actors are throwing a fit at this, claiming that it interferes with their artistic freedom. Dr. Ted Baehr joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss what the family audience means to Hollywood and how they could increase the audience by providing a cleaned-up version of many of their movies. www.movieguide.org

Ramjan Thakre, executive producer of Miracle, Saransdal, Norway: “Aril [Edvardsen] was pleased with the Malawi editions of Miracle [produced by JN]. We are translating two of the programs for the satellite broadcasts to the Arab world…Russia, Nigeria, Uganda and Denmark. The staff here had nothing but good to say about you. Everyone appreciated your personality, your patience and skill.”
